FINANCE INTERN

RLS SEA now seeks for a Finance Intern with the detailed information as follows:

 

A. SCOPE OF WORK

 

  1. Support to fulfill the accounting work for RLS SEA , including:
  • Support to check the correctness, properness and validity of all financial documents such as receipts, invoices, vouchers of expenditures, business trip claims, contracts of RLS SEA and file the financial documents in a good order on a monthly basis;
  • Support to collect all missing financial documents for the expenditures of RLS SEA to ensure the time target of monthly financial reports.
  • Support to translate financial documents from Vietnamese language into English language.
  • Support to file the financial documents in accordance with RLS’s filing structure.
  • Support to complete the reports and other required tasks related to finance, as well as budget plan for a certain period of time (quarterly, annually) for RLS SEA, if any.

 

  1. Support to fulfill the project financial management of RLS’s cooperation partners in Vietnam and in Laos, Cambodia, including:
  • Support to check the correctness, properness and validity of all financial documents such as receipts, invoices, vouchers of expenditures of the RLS SEA’s cooperation partners in Vietnam, and in Laos, Cambodia.
  • Support to check the compatibility of the hard copies of financial documents with the financial reports of the cooperation partners in the excel files.
  • Support to check the compatibility of the financial reports in comparison with the budget breakdown of the cooperation partners.
  • Support to contact the cooperation partners for further discussion and requirements on their financial reports. Support to collect all missing financial documents from the cooperation partners.
  • Support to check and manage the data & balance of the cooperation partners’ financial reports.
  • Support to translate financial documents from Vietnamese language into English language.
  • Support to file the financial documents in accordance with RLS’s filing structure.

 

  1. Effectively communicate relevant information to the Director and the team of RLS SEA to ensure the standard of the funding regulations of the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) are maintained.

 

  1. Commit to comply to RLS SEA’s confidential terms & conditions.

 

B. QUALIFICATION, SKILL & COMPETENCES

 

Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor in Economics, Accounting, Banking & Finance or similar field;
  • Professional experience in financial management, book keeping and accounting is an asset.

Skills and Competences

  • Proficient in English speaking, reading and writing;
  • Good skills in using MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook;
  • Good communication skills and demonstrated ability to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully;
  • Team-oriented: proven ability and motivation to collaborate with other, find solutions and share successes together with colleagues and partners.

 

C. INTERSHIP AGREEMENT & DURATION

 

  • Type of agreement: Internship Agreement with payment of supporting fee.
  • Duration: Expected as of the 1st of November 2019 to the 31st March 2020.

IT onsite support service

1. Terms and execution period

RLS SEA is under the process of renewing its IT support service contract and is calling for tender from interested IT services companies or individulas.

The office will award a new year contract for IT onsite support service for three year period depending on the assessment of RLS SEA and the agreement of both Parties in writing.

2. Criteria for assessment of the tender

RLS SEA will evaluate and assess the submissions of the interested applicants upon a set of criteria. These include:

  1. Track record and experience in the provision of such IT service with international organizations
  2. Service rate (hourly rate)
  3. Education and training background
  4. Ability to communicate in English and knowing German language is an asset
  5. Flexibility regarding working time on short notice, during holidays or weekends

3. Duties and Tasks

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot for problems related to IT system of the office via telephone, remote access and on-site service .
  • Install new hardware and software and its integration into the existing infrastructure of the Office.
  • Implement backup and recovery of users’data
  • Administer servers and networking equipment
  • Read technical manuals, confer with users, and conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems and to provide technical assistance and support..
  • Proactively advise the Client advantageous solutions to maintain IT system and improve the efficiency and productivity
  • Ensure software licenses are always kept up to date by maintaining a log of such licenses and by alerting the Client to renew these licenses if and when necessary.
  • Support the Client data security policy
  • Coordinate with IT department in Berlin on the technical isssues

4. Hardware

The Client  currently has one server, 14 Desktops, 6 laptops., 2 photocopiers and 8 printers.

5. Starting time

The selected service provider will be contracted from 15 September, 2019 .

Invitation to submit a tender for interpretation and translation service (English-Vietnamese-English)

Dear Sir/Madam,

The Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung Southeast Asia office (RLS SEA) would like to conclude a multiannual general interpretation and translation services agreement.

We would like to award these services through a bidding process to skilled and efficient applicants.

We hereby request you to submit your binding offer.

The contracts will be awarded in the form of two separate lots, i.e. lot 1 for interpreting services and lot 2 for translation services.

You can submit either individual offers for lot 1 or 2, or an offer for both lots together.

Your offer must be accompanied by the documents in the appendix, completed and signed, as well as proof of your capability. (You include your professional career CV including three referees).

In this context, please note that only the terms of order and agreement – see appendix – apply.

Deadline for the submission of offers: 31 August,  2019

All other dates and periods can be found under the respective lot. In order to treat all submissions equally, we will not be able to evaluate late or incomplete submissions of offers.
